This course provides extensive instruction and practical experience in many facets of the beauty industry, including hair coloring and cutting, perming, makeup, manicuring and skin care, among other techniques. You'll also learn about the importance of providing excellent customer service, gain valuable retail skills and begin to build a clientele. You'll also learn all about state laws.

On-time completion rate

In order to graduate on time, students must complete the requirements of the course, including the number of clock hours that are required. Students who need to delay their graduation for family problems, unplanned life events or any other reason can complete their coursework at a later date. Approximately 26 percent of students complete the course on time. Many other students who are not counted in the on-time completion rate complete the course at slower rates.
