With the all-new state of the art facility and the quality of education that Capilo Institute has built its reputation on, you would think it would cost more money to attend this school. Amazingly, the Institute has managed to keep our tuition affordable.

Flexible Schedules
Capilo Institute has class schedules set up to offer students some flexibility when it comes to attending the programs. This gives students the opportunity to work and take care of family responsibilities while obtaining an education.

Small Classes
Capilo limits the size of each class to make sure that each student gets the personal attention they need. If we have a lot of interest in a particular class starting date we will consider having an additional group(s) to try to accommodate student interest.   

Busy Clinic
Capilo has a busy clinic that averages over 500 clients each week. This is a working class clientele that gives our students the hands-on experience and the training to make a smooth transition from school to a salon.

Professional Products
Capilo uses only professional products so our students are familiar with what they will be using when they enter their profession. At Capilo Institute, we want our students to be the best and in order to be the best, they need to use the best products the industry has to offer.

Graduation
Capilo Institute has an official graduation ceremony to show family and friends their accomplishment of graduating and reaching their educational goal. 

Relaxed Atmosphere
Capilo students have the advantage of learning in a relaxed atmosphere. All of the staff is on a first name basis. Check out our History and learn about the Capilo Institute heritage.

Discount on Products
Capilo students receive a 40% discount on most professional products at the school. Students also receive a discount card that allows them to purchase products from a local supplier at a discounted price.

Retail Training Capilo students are taught product knowledge and learn how to retail professional products. This training gives our students an advantage and the opportunity to make more money when they enter the work place.

Salon Network and Job Placement Assistant
Capilo has built a network of some of  the best salons in Northern New England. This network of salons uses only the best products, offers continuing education, and prefers to hire our graduates. While we cannot guarantee job placement we do offer ongoing job placement assistance for our students and alumni.

Professional Haircolor
Capilo students are trained to use Paul Mitchell hair color, one of the most preferred hair colors in the industry. This gives our students the advantage of being trained with the type of hair color that they will most likely use when they go into the salon.

Experienced Staff
Capilo has some of the best educators in the business. The staff all has salon experience, which gives our students the advantage of being trained by working people in the field. Capilo instructors all have regular advanced classes that keep them up on all the latest techniques in haircolor, cutting, nails and skincare.

Modern Facility
Take a tour of the school's campus. You will notice very quickly that it is large and spacious. Capilo Institute has over 22,000 square feet of class rooms, clinics, and practical work areas making it one of the largest facilities in the north east.

Locally Owned
Capilo is not a large chain of schools, but is locally owned by a third generation hairdresser who still works in the industry. The founder along with his staff offer a quality education unlike any other training ever offered in the state.
