Limited Barbering Program



Have you ever thought about becoming a professional barber? Aveda Institute Maine will teach you all the classic barbering methods as well as the latest modern barbering techniques. With a curriculum that includes practical experience in hair cutting, shaving and an education in how to build clientele, our 800-hour course will help you get your career started on the right track. Our expert instructors will also teach you all about sanitation and the state laws.

Students will need to purchase the Aveda Institute Maine's Barber Kit including the required textbooks prior to starting the course. The kits and textbooks contain everything you need to become a successful barber. On-time completion rate

In order to graduate on time, students must complete the requirements of the course, including the number of clock hours that are required. Students who need to delay their graduation for family problems, unplanned life events or any other reason can complete their coursework at a later date. Approximately 26 percent of students complete the course on time. Many other students who are not counted in the on-time completion rate complete the course at slower rates.
